LOIC RALLIES BEHIND INDOMITABLE LIONS AT THE ONGOING AFCON

Cameroonian International Maxim Loic Feudjou who is also Napsa Stars goal keeper believes his country will do well at the ongoing TotalEnergies Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) being hosted in Cameroon.

Loic who has had experience with the national team in the 2013 and 2015 AFCON qualifying matches including 2014 World Cup, believes Cameroon has the quality of players that are capable of winning the trophy.

Having been part of the Indomitable Lions, Loic says he knows some of the players that are part of the National team and their quality of play.

“I know players from my country, I used to play with them so I think we can are capable of emerging victorious at this Africa Cup.” Loic said.

Loic also commended on the current Cameroon Football Federation President Samuel Eto’o saying he was the perfect leader for the Federation because he has passion for football in that country.

“I have worked with him, played with him, and I know what he is capable of. He has the passion for the sport and I know football in Cameroon is in perfect hands,” Said Loic.

The player who has been injured since 2021 and recently underwent a successful surgery in India, said he is recovering well and looking forward to returning to active football.

The player says the injury has affected him in that he has stayed away from the team for a long time.

Loic believes he will recover from the injury soon and will be back to help the team.
